Cookies & Storage Policy
Effective date: 29 October 2026
This policy lists every cookie and every piece of browser storage that www.snackingo.com uses, what each one is for, who sets it and how long it lasts. It also explains how you give or withdraw consent for the optional ones. Snackingo uses no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking and no third-party analytics.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep and send back with later requests to the same site. Local storage and session storage are similar places inside your browser where a website can keep small pieces of information; unlike cookies they are not sent to our servers automatically, and session storage is emptied as soon as you close the tab. All of these stay on your own device.
We use them for three things only: to make the shop work (your cart, coupon and order confirmation), to remember a preference you have set, and, if you agree, to count visits with our own page-view statistics.
2. What we use
The complete list is below. Everything except the Razorpay entry is set by us and read only by us.

Strictly necessary items are needed for the shop to work and are used without asking for consent, as the law allows. Preference items only remember a setting you chose yourself. Analytics (optional) items are used only if you say yes. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, social-media pixels or any third-party analytics service, and our hosting provider sets no tracking cookies on this site.
3. How consent works
When you first visit, a short banner asks whether we may keep first-party page-view statistics. You can accept or decline; the shop works the same either way. Your answer, the version of the notice you saw and the time are stored in snackingo-consent-v1 on your device so we do not ask again. If we change the notice in a way that matters, the banner will ask you afresh.
You can change your mind at any time by choosing Privacy choices in the footer of every page, which re-opens the same banner. As the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires, withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: one click, no account and no form. If you switch analytics off, the session identifier is removed and no further page views are recorded; statistics already collected are not linked to you and are deleted automatically within 180 days.
Consent for the personal data you give us at checkout (name, address, phone, email) is separate and is explained in our Privacy Policy. To withdraw it, or to exercise any other right, use the privacy request form.
4. How to clear or block storage in your browser
You can delete everything listed above at any time from your browser settings. Blocking storage entirely will stop the cart from remembering your items between pages.
- Chrome (desktop and Android): Settings → Privacy and security → Delete browsing data → tick "Cookies and other site data". To remove only this site: click the icon to the left of the address bar → Cookies and site data → Manage on-device site data.
- Safari (Mac): Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → search "snackingo" → Remove. Safari (iPhone/iPad): Settings → Apps → Safari → Clear History and Website Data, or Advanced → Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data, or Clear Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data → See all cookies and site data.
- Samsung Internet: Settings → Personal browsing data → Delete browsing data → Cookies and site data.
Most browsers also offer a private or incognito window, in which everything listed above is discarded when the window is closed.
5. Third parties
The only third party that may set cookies or storage when you use www.snackingo.com is Razorpay Software Private Limited, our RBI-authorised payment aggregator. Its cookies are set inside its own secure checkout window, only when you choose to pay, and are governed by Razorpay's privacy policy. We do not have access to them.
Our website is hosted on Vercel and our database on Turso. Neither sets tracking cookies on this site. We do not embed social-media widgets, advertising tags or third-party analytics scripts.
6. Changes to this policy
If we add, remove or change any cookie or storage item, we will update the table above and the effective date at the top. If a change means we need your consent again, the banner will ask you. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
